AUTUMN INFERNO COTONEASTER  Cotoneaster apiculatus ‘Autumn Inferno’
• A compact, upright‑oval deciduous shrub selected for its improved form, dense branching, and exceptional fall colour—glowing shades of red, orange, and burgundy that outperform standard hedge cotoneaster.
• Produces small pink‑tinged white flowers in late spring; not showy, but they provide nectar for bees and other small pollinators.
• Develops glossy black berries in late summer to fall; not edible for humans but appreciated by birds and persistent into winter.
• Very hardy and adaptable, thriving in clay, loam, alkaline soils, and urban conditions; drought tolerant once established and excellent for hedges, borders, and foundation plantings.
• Full Sun to Part Shade
• Zone 3, 1.5–2 m Height × 1–1.5 m Width
