Refund Policy

Your satisfaction as a customer is extremely important to us and we will always make an effort to be fully transparent in both our growing and selling processes. Below you will find information on our refund policy for both the live and non-live goods we offer.  If you have any questions about our refund policy, please do not hesitate to contact us.

 

Refunds Live Goods

Currently, we do not offer any refunds on live goods. Once a live good leaves our lot (for in person purchases) or you sign off acknowledging delivery/planting satisfaction (for a delivery job) the plant is now considered to be under your care. However, we will do everything we can to help the plants you purchase succeed. Not only do we make sure that all plants we carry at Wheatland Trees Ltd. are healthy and appropriate for our zone/growing climate, but we are also happy to answer any plant care questions you may have. Refunds Live Goods Exceptions

For online orders, if you arrive to pick up your order and are not satisfied with your order you may choose either a full refund or alternative products at equivalent value. This occurs prior to any live goods leaving the site. 

 

For delivery orders, if you are not satisfied with your order when it arrives on site you may choose to have a full refund, or if applicable alternative products at equivalent value. Please note, that the full refund for delivery orders only applies to ordered products, meaning in the instance of a delivery refund you are still charged the delivery fee, and cannot occur after you confirm delivery satisfaction. 

 

In the instance that you feel that there is an issue with a live good purchased from us that is not caused by environmental conditions or care, please contact us and we will have a plant expert assess the situation for a potential refund. In this instance, you will be required to provide information on the plant care that was performed for the item in question as well as relevant environmental conditions experienced. Please note, this process is done on a case by case basis and any full or partial refunds provided are at the discretion of our plant experts. 

 

Refunds Non-Live Goods

For non-live goods such as our books, hats, garden tools, etc. we offer a full refund up till 14 days after purchase for items in their original condition and with their receipt of sale.
