When should I prune my trees?
Best time to prune is during the winter months when the tree is dormant. Not only will it be easiest to see the tree shape at this time, but pruning while the tree is dormant helps prevent the spread of pathogens and bugs.Â
What is the difference between annual and perennial?
Annuals are plants that last for 1 year and then die. Perennials are plants that come back each year. Depending on the Growing Zone, the way some plants are labelled (as either annual or perennial) may vary. This is why we always recommend checking the Hardiness Level on all plants you purchase to ensure your best chance at growing success. Will my tree fit in my car or will I need it delivered?
At Wheatland Trees we offer a large variety of tree sizes and types. If you want to be able to transport your tree/plants yourself, we definitely have stock options that will work with that. If you decide you would prefer to have your plant(s) delivered, we also offer delivery and planting services that you can find out more information on here.Â
