Crabapple, Emerald Spire

EMERALD SPIRE CRABAPPLE  Malus ‘Jefgreen’

• A striking columnar crabapple with a narrow, upright form that makes it ideal for tight spaces, entryways, courtyards, and modern landscape designs where vertical structure is desired.
• Bursts into masses of soft pink buds that open to bright white blossoms in mid‑spring, creating a showy floral display that reliably attracts bees and other pollinators.
• Produces small, deep‑red ornamental fruit that clings tightly to the branches well into winter, offering colour and bird appeal with very little fruit drop.
• Noted for excellent disease resistance, especially to apple scab and fire blight, ensuring clean foliage and minimal maintenance throughout the season.
• Exceptionally cold‑hardy and well‑adapted to Prairie conditions, performing reliably in full sun and tolerating periods of dryness once established.
• Full Sun
• Zone 2, 4–5 m Height × 1.5–2 m Width
