• A hardy, productive hybrid plum long valued on the Prairies for its consistent yields and reliable cold‑climate performance, forming an upright, rounded tree with strong branching.
• Abundant white blossoms in spring provide strong pollinator value; requires a compatible pollinator such as Mustang for best fruit set.
• Produces medium to large red plums with juicy, sweet‑tart yellow flesh ideal for fresh eating, canning, and preserves; fruit drop is moderate and manageable.
• Very tolerant of drought, clay soils, and exposed prairie sites; maintains vigor with minimal pruning and shows reasonable resistance to black knot compared to older varieties.
